Location

Embudu Village Hotel is located in the Kaafu Atoll some 6 miles south of the capital Male. To give you an idea of how small the island is, it is possible to walk around the entire Island in around 15 minutes. It is surrounded by its own coral reef near the Embudu Channel famous for its "white knuckle" Embudu Express dive site.  The Island has a shallow lagoon ideal for bathing which tends to be a nursery for many different types of fish particularly Black Tip Sharks that are in abundance. The sea water temperature tends to remain constant at around 28-29 degrees Celsius and the clarity of the turquoise blue waters just has to be seen to be believed!
